How to Disable Google Chrome's Heavy Ads Preview Feature

Recently (as of October 2020), Google Chrome has been rolling out a new Auto-Kill Heavy Ad Integration over the last month, which may be helpful in avoiding large-file ads from third-party providers while browsing the internet.

However, if you’re trying to see your Facebook and Instagram ad previews in ToneDen, an Ad Removed message will appear.

Here's how to disable Google Chrome's Heavy Ad Interventions so you can still see ad previews within ToneDen.

1. Input chrome://flags/#enable-heavy-ad-intervention in Google Chrome's address bar.

2. Select Disable.

Select Disable.

3. Relaunch Google Chrome.

If that doesn't fix the problem, proceed to the next step:

1. Input chrome://flags/#heavy-ad-privacy-mitigations in Google Chrome's address bar.

2. Select Disable.

Select Disable.

3. Relaunch Google Chrome.
